House debating budget today

The Texas House will spend the day debating the state’s budget for the next biennium. The budget is arguably the most important bill of the session so this is typically a lengthy process. This session, there are also over 250 amendments that need to be considered. ATPE will follow the proceedings closely and posting updates. Stay tuned for updates. View a breakdown of the budget.
